The room was a good size with a huge, comfortable bed and all the essential furniture: a safe, hair dryer, bathroom essentials, towels, and a fridge. Although there was no wardrobe, there was enough space and hangers to store our clothes. The staff were lovely and generously gifted us breakfast for the entire stay—a thoughtful gesture, especially since there weren't many cafes or restaurants nearby. We used the subway daily, with several stations within a 10–11 minute walk. It took about 20 minutes to reach the city center. While the neighborhood didn’t feel particularly welcoming and I didn’t feel comfortable going out alone at night, we didn’t experience any issues. Overall, it was a decent stay and offered great value for money.

The room was exceptionally clean and the staff beyond friendly. But what sets this hotel apart is the incredible place for the great location, on the way to subway (number 7 and G are the closest) you literally find yourself in from of an amazing view of the Empire State Building. The location is unmatchable for the price, really. Two subway stops and you are in Manhattan, and quickly to Brooklyn as well. I was traveling alone (female) and I went to the hotel a few evenings alone from the subway and I felt safe. If you prefer, the city is obviously fully serviced by any possible car/cab service. Loved it!

The hotel and my room exceeded my expectations. I was looking for a reasonably priced room in the Queens area, but I did not expect much for the amount paid, I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the hotel and was warmly greeted by the friendly hotel staff. My room was VERY clean. The bed was comfortable and had clean linens. The bathroom was clean and had a modern tub/shower. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but were given free breakfast coupons upon check in (I was expecting to pay for breakfast). The location is great and close to trains.

The breakfast was great, it kept us full for our day at the city. The room was very spacious, which was a plus since we stayed for 12 days (first room we were given was pretty tight, though, but we changed). 3 or 4 USB plugs, so you don't need any adaptors. The staff is really adorable and ready to help. They changed our light bulb within minutes. The store with the snacks is super convenient, and rather cheap for a light dinner. Free coffee, tea and water all day. This is a real VFM!

Loved how clean and cozy the hotel was. The high ceilings were nice and the bathroom was larger (so were the windows!). It was cool to have a breakfast option and a "store" downstairs. The parking was excellent. Even on a Saturday, we parked right out front and could see our car from the window. Short 10-15 minute drive to our destinations in Brooklyn, without paying the extremely high prices of Brooklyn. Would stay again, for sure!
